Yogi was the Yankees' Yoo-Hoo yahoo who yanked in Mickey. Berra hawked the chocolate drink on TV and radio; led informal tours of its factories and supermarkets; became a stockholder and honorary company exec; and even stockpiled the stuff in a clubhouse cooler. For this particular ad campaign, he enlisted the help of notorious prankster Mantle, who mugged for the camera by pretending to drink with the cap still on! The colorized, 22x29 stadium scene seldom surfaces on the auction block, though a fine example did sell in 2017 for over $10,000. Preservation-wise, there is the expected general age/storage wear of a 75-year-old cardboard sign, as well as a lengthy crease/ripple that passes through Mick's heart and up through his noggin. The showpiece is housed in a vintage weathered frame to measure 26x33. Now let's raise a bottle of the "Drink of Champions" (cap off) and clink to the memory of Yoo-Hoo's greatest spokesmen. From our man-cave to yours, we say, "
